VLC Portable is the popular VLC media player packaged as a portable app, so you can take your audio and video files along with everything you need to play them on the go. This release updates VLC to the latest version and uses improved compression techniques to speed launching time on PCs with slow antivirus products. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

Auto-update isn't working from the Updater, says the file is corrupted. Manual download works fine.

Was a bug in the updater database with the VLC 1.1.11 entry. It's fixed. Sorry about that.
