PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

FreeFileSync Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Thanks

Thanks for your work on this, Vic. I made one change in removing the path portablization of the FFS files. The app itself allows you to use drive names (built right into the GUI) to accomplish this already and I thought it could run into problems if you were, say, syncing files TO/FROM your local drive and moved the app onto the same drive and ran it then moved it off again. In that case, all the C:\ paths would be switched to the same as the app.

Side note: I'd missed your package of this originally. Could you please add your apps that are ready for release to the tracker: http://portableapps.com/node/11772
