Hi, I've just applied the installer over the "old" portable opera... and It just had deleted the profile... I've lost the content of three windows and almost 36 tabs...

I did this because using FireFox portable or Chrome portable It never happened, the profile "survive".

Your Opera Portable profile moves between your OperaPortable\Data\profile folder when not running and the OperaPortable\App\Opera\profile folder when it's in use (due to a shortcoming in Opera that won't let it look at a specific folder the way Firefox can). The Data folder is always preserved and never touched while upgrading. The 2nd location is moved out of App and back in on upgrade to preserve it to due a direction to the installer via the installer.ini on the off chance that Opera Portable was crashed on its last run and the profile didn't move back to Data. So, the only technical way to lose your profile would be to have crashed Opera Portable on the last run (pro tip: shutting down Windows with it running will crash it along with most other running apps) and then upgrade it before you ran it again to move the profile back to Data while at the same time also having some other 3rd party program locking the OperaPortable\App\Opera\profile folder from being moved to be preserved. If all of that somehow managed to happen, it would be possible for the profile folder to be destroyed and you'd need to restore from a recent backup.
