Portable Medical Records

I am looking for a program that i could enter medical information and carry on a stick, like medflash. I just can't see paying $50.00 for a 128mb stick. Does anyone have a suggestion. Thanks.

Text file

One suggestion is what I do:
I have a simple text file with the name 'medical info.txt' with my contact info, insurance info, conditions, doctors, and medications. Being a text file, it can be read on any OS or computer. And, having a .txt extension means that an idiot with a Windows machine can open it with minimal knowledge. If you are so inclined, you can add the same info in other languages.

Practical

I was going to suggest [and have] the same thing on my drive [course it does me no good since the drive is locked Blum ] but did not want to post it as I thought the OP might think I was being snide. To me to have an app that does this is silly when such a simple solution is available. Why would you need an app to do this? But as I thought about it, why not? This is PortableApps.com, where wishes really do come true Blum and obviously the medflash people think there's need.

It might be unnecessary, but if someone was willing to write it it might be cute. I would never use it myself but what the hey! I have rarely used the PAM/PAP but people really seem to get into menus and skinning and stuff.

Here you go....

There are quite a few at sourceforge.net (I just love that place). There's Ultimate EMR, SmartExp and a lot more. UEMR appears to be the most active, so I personally would go for that one. Now all you need is a volunteer to make one portable. Sorry, I can't help there.
