Maybe there could be a check box, so that when it is checked the menu does not fade out? I know that you could just change the options in the config file, but this would make it accessible for day to day usage.
So whatcha think? Is this a good idea?

If you add a line reading FadeMenu=False to your PortableAppsMenu.ini, it won't fade in and out.

But you have to change that each and every time you want it changed. By putting a check box into the menu, you don't have to. This just makes it simpler to use.
How often do you intent to change that?
