Google Reader now broken - Firefox 3 beta 3 rev 2

GobberGo - February 14, 2008 - 12:15pm

I'm running the portable Firefox off a network drive so that I can access it from several PCs in my office. My office computers run XP Pro SP2.

I recently loaded FF 3 beta 3 rev 2, and now Google Reader - my primary RSS reader - is broken. The script(s) for displaying the feeds in the box on the right seems to be loading incorrectly. It looks like it shoves the feed's posts down and off screen. That's a guess based on the fact that the feed posts momentarily show when I resize the FF window, then disappear again.

This problem only seems to happen with the portable version of FF3b3. I've tried it at home on my Mac and on a regular installation of FF3b3 and it worked fine in both instances. I've tried disabling my extensions and that didn't fix the problem, nor did reinstalling.

Any ideas?

Firefox Issue

It's a known issue with Beta 3, not the portable version.

Where is that documented? I

Where is that documented? I couldn't find anything about it. Reader loads just fine in my regular installation of FF3b3 on this machine, so what else could it be?

Hmmm...

I could have sworn I read that yesterday, but now I can't find it either. I must be wrong.
