Couple Things

Hey digitxp,

Nice work on getting some apps started. Couple things. First, we've got a customized version of Coolplayer coming out with a theme done by Neorame with a few additional features. (I've been remiss in getting the pre-release posted)

Second, the PortableApps.com Format Development Test program is for apps released in PortableApps.com Format that are going to become a part of the official PortableApps.com lineup. Zip downloads don't qualify as PortableApps.com Format (don't support digital signatures, upgrades get messy, they're larger, etc). And you need to include all the bits normally in the other apps (help files, etc).

Also, I wanted to confirm that you are willing to support/update these apps for at least a year and want to bring them into main list of apps hosted on the PortableApps.com project on SF. If so, I think you'd be a good candidate to add the to the list of devs (if no one has any objections, of course).

Regards,
John

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Once Updated

He did pretty well on the SMPlayer Portable, and it should be pretty good once he updates it.

Okay.

  • Cool, additional features...
  • I would definetly support/update for a year (I got school, though; 5th grade is harder when it's in Middle School). It seems I abandoned Tux Paint because a)MISIIM already made one (though it expired), and b)I seem not to keep going with things I don't finish in less than 24 hours accumalative.
  • I made the zip versions because some people HATE installers, but then again the installer is basically a self extracting zip.

I can't believe you actually replied to my beta! Laughing out loud *faints*
@Patrick: I updated it, just gotta get it uploaded, and find out whats wrong with my FireFTP.
Guess it's bug-free.
