GimpPortable 2.4.5

I found this version much better than the stright Gimp 2.4.5.....

I first mounted it on a Flash Drive...then copied it to the main computer...best of all it can run in parallel as it does not share the same setting files....I installed one version with Background Window and the PS dock arrangements..

I also can use the Background Window and the PS dock arrangements on my regular Gimp..

Now I had just one problem...gimp does not have a browser to review files and drag files into GimpPortable, I tried the freeware FastStone which appears perfect to use with Gimp....in addition I copied the installed program into my PortableApps directory on the flash disk where it works well....this would be a perfect addition as a portable app for viewing, light picture work and the browser for Gimp...

Finally, I see no reason to install anything but PortableGimp on friends computers...it runs exactly the same, supports the same plugins and scripts....it only takes copying it onto the computer...updates may become a problem...

I am also considering removing Open Office from my computer and adding all the portable directly onto the computer....
