Abiword.exe found a problem and must close...Submitted by aguillen on April 4, 2008 - 10:39am
Something like like that is the message I receive when I click on the second item of the tools menu (in Spanish: Establecer Idioma, I don't know in the English one). I don't know if this is a bug of the app itself or a portable issue only. It happens both on Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2000 SP4. Or maybe my download was corrupted?. ( categories: )

The item is for setting the language.

Local?
Can you reproduce it with a locall install? There's at least one bug report of AbiWord itself doing this... but I was theorizing it was due to a too-small display (800x480) not fitting the dialog.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Ill check
tomorrow.
EDIT
I installed AbiWord 2.6 to my virtual XP machine and it didnt have that bug.

Yes may be is related...
To display size, because the Tipography button and the one after it dont fit on my 800x600 display (on Windows 2000) ... but in the other hand, the error happens too in a larger display on Windows XP (and the buttons fit here). By the way the icons are real ugly on Windows 2000 (hideous red background

No for me :(
At least on Windows xp it has the issue yet, I am now at a cybercafe, latter I am going to test it at home in my old Windows 2000 box. But thank you very much by the fast update.
Edit: Now the app close without the error message
Edit2: No way. Same issue in windows 2000, with error message.
