The
easiest way to check is to backup and test it! If it doesn't do what you want then post again and I will see what I can do. Hope you enjoy using Toucan :)

I have rally enjoyed using toucan, great app! Thks for yr help!
Did what y suggested, played about with all the functions. The one that comes closest to what i need/want is equalize...
I do, however, have a request. Whenever i REMOVE files from one side, the files get copied over form the other -regardless of the direction... Essentially there is no way of deleting files without them getting copied back (unless i go and manually remove the files from BOTH sides) Thats pretty safe since files wont get zapped by the application...
Now for the request: would it be possible to configure toucan so that if i DELETE files from the source they also get deleted form the destination but NOT vice versa? Ie: While using equalize, if the PC is the source and i delete a file on the PC, it deletes the file on the destination, in this case the USB. If i delete a file on the USB, it just gets copied over on the next sync...
In fact, another idea comes to mind: could the app not ask what to do in each case? for new files, updated files, deleted files and in what direction to affect the changes?
TIA
Paul
Yeah,
this sort of fine grained control should be added in version 2.1, or perhaps in 2.0 if I can manage it, it will come though!
