I think it already is

I think it already is portable, or used to be. Currently we can't do it, because our site doesn't yet have their hosting server set up. PortableApps.com apps are hosted on SourceForge which only supports open source applications. Some time in the future, PortableApps.com will have their own hosting services set up, and these servers will be used to host freeware apps.

PS. In the future, please use the search feature built into the top right corner of this website, as often times a question has already been asked.

not fully portable

well it's sorta portable; i think it leaves stuff in appdata. spybot 1.5 has a way to make it more portable through an ini file but there's no explanation anywhere how to configure it.

It IS portable in the sense

It IS portable in the sense that it can be carried around and used.

It IS NOT portable in OUR sense of leaves nothing behind.
It really can't be as that what it leaves behind is system specific and would not apply to the next machine you plugged your drive into.

I use it myself for checking NOT cleaning. If I did use it to clean it would make sense that the undo files, etc. would, should in fact, remain on the host.

Not a bad little program really Smile
