Looks good, Cornice is a bit outdated, and there's JPEGView in Development Test. I think the best bet would be to get a few OSS image viewers together and then take a vote and select the best 1 or 2 to become official

It alredy works without installation.
xnview "portablized" and xnview installed on pc
I use both since a long time on pendrive and pc. And I use always the current new version. It is no problem to delete the files for uninstall on the pendrive. But sometimes the version there interferes with the version on pc regarding the preferences used. (As far as I remember even if xnview on pc is not running.)
