The current Miro Portable (v 0.9.8.1) from Ryan McCue's website has some big errors (leaves half of the profile folder in the host computer, therefore cannot save settings) would anyone be willing to up date his launcher, or does anyone have any work-around suggestions (batch file suggestions?), or even help me fix it on my own?

He's aware of the error. Last I checked, he's working on it if he can get cooperation from the Miro devs.
Any .bat file suggestions while I'm waiting?

It's a Miro bug. I believe there's a problem re-directing the WHOLE profile, so all you can do it copy the extra files back and forth.
I'm working on it. The Miro dev team is a bit slow to answer questions though

It's hilarious, cause they were all jumping on it when Holmes initiated the idea for the first 24 hours.
