Where is portablefirefox cache and cookies stored? Submitted by truthseeker on July 31, 2008 - 7:10pm
I looked inside the Portablefirefox folder, but I could not find anywhere where it stores its cache and cookies etc. Does anyone know please? Isn't Portablefirefox supposed to store all this personal data inside the portablefirefox folder? [Topic to be moved to FF forum by mod Tim] ( categories: )

my portablefirefox does not
my portablefirefox does not have these 2:
\FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\cookies.txt
\FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\cache\
There is no such file at all called "cookies.txt" in \FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\
And I do not have any folder at all called cache inside \FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\
Can you please shed some light onto this for me?

ahhh you are using FFP3 aren't you?
in FFP3 I think it's called cookies.xml or something like that, just do a search for cookies.* in your FFP Data directory.
Do you have cache turned on, if so do a search for "cache"
I don't have FFP3 with me right now.

Tim, I think I know the reason. In my options/advanced/network in firefox, it says cache is set for 0MB.
So in portable FF3, I think cache is disabled. Yes?
