Keepass Portable vs KeePass

Submitted by sooldguy on August 3, 2008 - 10:23am

Am I missing something? I recently added Keepass v 1.11 to my PC . My keepass file is *.kdbx . I tried to use this file for Keepass Portable but that seems to require an *.kdb/*.pwd masterfile.

How do I transform my .kdbx file so that it can be used in Keepass portable?

Well...

Id try this:

There are breaking changes to the KDBX file format and there is no backward
compatibility (as it often happens in the Alpha phase).
Migration solution: export to XML and import back in.

BTW i have that info from a here. Maybe there is more info on this on the Keepass site or in their Forums.
