This Program is Adware
I tried this out in a sandbox which was prudent, because I found that it downloads an advertisement approximately every minute. It is worse than MSN.

if this is confirmed adware this application's download link should be removed. If they serving ads on your machine there's no telling what else they do.
Adware, but no spyware
Hello, Galaxee Portable is derived from our commercial versions. All of our free versions are containing advertisements, which is a fair win-win situation, as we think.
Galaxee Portable neither transfers personal data, nor contains spyware.

Is this Open Source Software? I'm nervous about downloading it, as per the above comment, and I can't load your website to see if it is OSS. In order to post an application here, it must be OSS.

It was a misapprehension
Our software is closed source. Thats why it is not permitted to place it at PortableApps.com, which we deeply regret. This was a misapprehension on our side and we will cancel our project.

Personally I think free
Personally I think free software while not open source being portable is a thing to be encouraged. And in the future PortableApps.com hopes to allow freeware to be posted. But, the facts that freeware contains advertisements and becomes adware is something I personally am not fond of. My desktop is not a billboard for advertisements. And because adware most likely is profiling 'to make the displayed adds better target the user' it is to close to spyware for comfort. Because the software is closed source, there is (for us) no telling what happens under the hood.
Good luck with your application and I hope you look into the commercial aspects of Open Source as part of your business model as well, or in the least look at a freeware version that is not using advertisements as I assume the goal is to get more customers instead of some revenue from advertisements through a 3rd party.
