Toucan opens a command prompt like window when run

I installed the portable toucan in my computer's hard drive. When i open toucan, a command prompt like windows opens but it closes after a second. Then the splash screen of toucan and Portableapss appear. I tried running toucan on my flash drive and it doesn't show up any of those black windows.
