Why did you delete everything in this thread?

The only problem is, there are several problems.

Add To PAM

Hello wraithdu;

This may not be the place for this but I have to ask. Have you and John ever spoken about adding this to PAM. I have read in other topics people asking how to add Fonts. I did my self.

My thought was that when Pam started up this could run and ask if you wanted to add fonts. Then when PAM exits it would just automatically remove them. Or even a check off in PAM's options could be added and then this would just automatically be run on start up of PAM.

You would do better

You would do better requesting this directly from John in the PortableApps.com Platform support forum. He's more than capable of adding this functionality to PAM if he wants to.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Exactly what I needed!

Yeahh!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats exactly what i need!!!!!!

mmmmmmmmmm................

This would be awesome for...

Something like finale notepad on your flash drive (even though I know we can't make an official version because it isn't open source), because it needs the maestro font.

I'm glad you guys find it

I'm glad you guys find it useful! It's always the simplest things... Eye-wink

The EXE does not quit

I have just started to have this problem. I can not safely remove my USB after running PortableFonts. I get an error message saying try to remove later.

I looked in the task manager and found "portablefont.exe" still running. After I ended it in task manager I could remove my USB. I did this multiple times.

I am using this at work on a PC running WinXP SP3. The company I work for just did some automatic upgrades. I am not sure what to try to do except try it out at home on my PC which is runing Win2KP. Maybe I should remove this app and reinstall it.

Close it

You need to close it from the system tray

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

you need to run

you need to run portablefontsremove and then wait until that closes.

Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world

'PortableFonts.exe' should

'PortableFonts.exe' should not remain running after you choose 'Add', 'Remove', or 'Exit'. And yes, you'll have to remove the fonts before you can remove the drive.
