"This is an apology from me MMT to John T. Haller and all of the other members of portableapps.com. I truly agree, my recent posts have been out of hand and down right lame. There are no excuses for my actions, and as stated by other members, I have seen the warnings and completely ignored them. I would like to apologize on behalf of myself because for one, as I stated and proclaimed myself to be a follower of christ, i certianly have not displayed that type of behavior with my recent actions. I have completely take the off-topic forums and turned it into a joke and i would like to say i'm sorry. I know by just typing this on the internet i would seem that the point of apologizing would just be to avoid banment but i assure you that is not mainly the case. I truly apologize for my recent actions and if you want to ban me i would understand it completely and would hold nothing against you for it. I still would like to repeat and say i am sorry for my recent actions with the out of control posting and just annoying comments and topics i have brought to your website. I currently see that it is my fault that recent members are getting steamed about certian situations and topics, and actually the "..." was me trying to erase the history and start over anew... What you had done, was completely unacceptable. You know this, and I hope you have learned from it. I can't speak for any other members, but I truly think you should be put on a hiatus, for nothing less than 24 hours. While you realize now that it was unacceptable, you knew before yet you chose to ignore the rules and warnings from the mods and members. You are old enough to realize the mistake, you are certainly old enough to realize what you were doing.
That is just my thought. I'm glad you came around, but that's how I truly feel about this. I will hold nothing against you, but acting like that, blatantly ignoring warnings up until the point of a ban threat is unacceptable. Hopefully going forward you will remember the rules and heed warnings and use proper judgement.

This is a very serious matter so i would like to request starting tommorow at 4:00am that my profile be placed on temp ban for at least 1 week... Just a suggestion... That's just to show that i am truly serious...

Ok i know when i first got here that we all got off on the wrong foot mainly because i was new and i was unaware of somethings but after getting to know how the site works and alot of trial and error with the posting and forums, i now know that i made some very costly mistakes...I Am Serious about this...Brother in Christ

Rather than blanking your posts like that to "start over new", I would suggest to delete the main topic.
Just go up to the top of the topics you want to get rid of, and there should be two tabs: View, and Edit. Click on edit, and you can scroll down to the bottom and next to the "Save" and "Preview" buttons, there should be a "Delete" button. Just hit that, it would be better than clogging up the OT forum with all these threads that just say "..." on them. (Keep in mind, this only works on topics, not comments.)
I think the disruptiveness of blanking topics and comments has already been brought to your attention, so I would suggest just writing a detailed explanation for deleting/blanking the topics here, and then to get rid of them.
I respect your apology to the members of the forum, but please be aware that it takes time to earn a good reputation on forums like these, and you haven't got off to the greatest start. For the majority of this forum it will take a long time for you to earn our trust. However, if what you are saying here is true and you intend to do what you are saying, you might get somewhere positive, eventually.
