FF3.1B1 Tab closing issue

I tried out the release of FFP3.1. One thing I noticed, and I'm not sure if it affects the local version too as i can't install it. When you close ALL of your tabs, it will actually SHUT DOWN firefox instead of leaving you at a blank tab. That's something that has never happened before.

By Design

I think this is by design. You HAVE to have at least one tab open.

Previous versions of Firefox

Previous versions of Firefox would recreate a blank tab. I'm not too sure I like the auto-closing

Sort Of

Previous versions of Firefox hid the tab bar when there was only one tab.

If "always show tab bar" was

If "always show tab bar" was enabled, it would recreate a blank tab.
