Just writing to see how come OO Base doesn't appear in the menu? I just deleted my old Open Office as I thought this was some update error but then realized when I did a fresh install its still not coming up. Anyone know whats up with this?

I'm having the same issue, except an icon for the main OO launcher shows up in my menu. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the OpenOffice Portable suite, but this does not fix the problem.

Which Base?

Do you mean the base OOo launcher that just launches OOo. Or do you mean the launcher for OOo base? If base, it shows up fine in the PortableApps.com Platform. If you mean the base OOo launcher, this is by design but will be selectable in a later release.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I have assumed that the

I have assumed that the database launcher is the problem as I am seeing this myself.
I appreciate that this is not an OpenOfficePortable problem but rather one of an
unsupported menu mod (R34), however, as a number of people seem to be using this
mod I thought that I would try to find a solution. Using the old launcher for
OpenOfficeBasePortable has worked for me with what sounds like a similar set up to
Horusofoz. I am unsure why it should as the nsi file seems to be identical except for
the word "test" in the line "define friendly name". I have also recompiled the
launcher using the old nsi file and the new appicon incase it was the icon causing
the problem but this works fine too.

Yeah,

It shows up in the regular menu, but not the Mod Menu.

Siggys waste Bandwidth... that's why I have one.
