Good day every one. Jwyanze back again...
There is a problem that i bring to the table here to day and will like to get it sort out ASAP. As u know out apps has been featured on may websites before and that is all good and well. Not so much when an app is misrepresented by one very highly ranked site.
There is a blog post by the editor Seth.Rosenblatt on Download.com about Johns AppCompactor at the address located
http://www.download.com/8301-2007_4-10074317-12.html?tag=mncol;title
excuse my lack of html haven't use it for a while
The name of the post is named "Turn almost any app into a portable app" which is completely incorrect and their for misleading any one who does now read through
My proposal is since i am a long member of download.com i would send a error report highlight the mistake.
I am planning to write a letter now but don't want to screw it up so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I also wanted to bring this to the attention of the community and to JohnTHaller.
Lets get this sort out as quickly as possible.
Jwyanze told me about this and I was like... That is completely incorrect.... The title implies that you can make anything portable..... But it only allows you to compress files :S You might want them to change it :S
iLike Macs, iPwn, However you put it... Apple is better ^_^
"Claiming that your operating system is the best in the world because more people use it is like saying McDonalds makes the best food in the world..."
Hey Seth Rosenblatt,
The clarification note will be most appreciated by me and I'm sure it will also be appreciated by the Portableapps.com community.
Thanks for the most speedy response.
Regards,
Jwyanze Libert

However, I'm more than happy to add a note clarifying that AppCompactor does not make apps truly portable in the sense of a self-contained program. Would that work for you?
