OpenOffice 3.0 portable

Hi,
some people say that the pre-versions of the OpenOffice 3.0 portable are the final versions. Is that right? Are we expecting to release OpenOffice 3.0 portable final this year? I am waiting for it since months and don't understand why it isn't ready jet. I read a couple of weeks ago it is as good as ready. Thank you in advande.

OpenOffice 3 was released on

OpenOffice 3 was released on 10.10.2008. So it is two months since the desktop release. I would be nice to have it as a portable version on which I am always waiting and waiting. OpenOffice 3.0.1 is behind the door. Are there stil any problems with the portable version? Why don't you release the final portable version?

A guy in my office sometimes

A guy in my office sometimes drives a 'big rig' with up to double trailers on it. He says the quote above instead of "Whoa! Slow down!" Biggrin
