Miro 2.0 is out and it's about time that it was made into a portable app. It is 100% open source and can now handle HD video. If it is already in the works, please tell me the status. ( categories: )

Miro 2.0 rocks my socks! And they fixed their download button, hurrah! Hopefully Ryan's still working on this as well as Songbird, but we'll see.
There was an issue with Miro 1.0, but seeing as they said they basically rewrote this, perhaps it was fixed or no longer exists.

i love miro, yet im sad the
i love miro, yet im sad the original installer tried to install some IE toolbar. That's sooo wrong for a GPL software and might even not be allowed by GPL as the toolbar is closed source.
For that alone a portable version might be useful. But... isnt there another Trademark issue?

i too add my voice for getting a portable version of miro... so please create a portable version of miro, that would be one of the best portable apps for us media junkies... so please and thank you for making *hopefully* a portable version of miro.
