Sound Problem

polbg - May 9, 2006 - 10:10am

Hello out there!

I've a problem with the latest release of the player:

There is no sound!

Can someone solve my problem (settings or what ever)?

Prefs

Most likely, the system you are playing on doesn't have a fully working sound driver for whatever VLC is auto-selecting as it's output. Head into Settings - Preferences and then select Audio - Output modules. Then check off Advanced in the lower right. Then select an output type from the dropdown and try to find one that works.

If you're using Windows 95/98/Me... keep in mind those aren't officially supported by VLC as stated on the Portable VLC page.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

problem solved

thx. it seems to be an other problem, because today it works without any settings...
