PortableApps.com featured in April 2009 Maximum PC

as a lot of us know, portableapps.com has been featured in many maximum pc issues. well again in the april 2009 issue, portableapps.com is once again featured.

we are featured on page 27, just the second page of the section "50 Things every PC Geek should Know"

Wow. So, not only did they put it on the January (or was it Feburary...?) CD, now it is in an article! Again, anyway.

Maximum PC likes us! Yay! lol

Great. Maximum PC is my favorite PC magazine. PC World, for example, is a bit broader, but MPC writes for the power user and thus their articles tend to lean toward doing more with your PC and making your PC the best it can be, as opposed to just covering everything PC related with no real focus.

Now that I think about it, MPC is probably where I first heard about PA.c. I believe the Suite was on one of their CDs and that's how I got started. (I joined the forum to ask a question, and then my account just went idle for months, until I became active a few months ago.)

Application portability, with no specific vendor in mind, in general is indeed something every computer geek should know. PA.c just has the best overall solution, with a good menu which is getting better, and a host of tried and true applications. There's a lot more that you can do with application portability than PA.c covers, but PA.c is where application portability should be. Congratulations on the MPC nod.
