Which soft for PortableApps?

Hello,

New member on this forum, I would like to ask you all a question :

Using PortableApps (PA) on my USB key, I'd tried to use Universal Extractor (UE) to transform an aplication into portable one. But the exit format given by UE seems not to match with this one accepted by PA (that accept only *.paf.exe!)

Thanks for help

Keen to read your answer (sorry for my english, but you know French speaker!!!) Wink

???

I really don't get what you're asking....

Just open up the installer and browse to your flash drive.

Sorry

You cannot use a compression/decompression program (like Universal Extractor) to wave a magic wand and suddenly "make" a program portable.

I believe that you are trying to find out how to add an application to the PortableApps.com menu system.

If so, please read the FAQ at:
https://portableapps.com/support/portable_apps_suite#addingapps

I think you are saying you

I think you are saying you want to use other applications that do not come in PAF format with the PAM or new PAP menus. If you want to use a non-PAF application in the menu, you must use the following folder schema:
- root folder for all your portable apps
....|- PAM or PAP menu folder
....|- PAM or PAP executable
...- any PAF-type application (like Firefox, OOo or other)
....|- PAF- application launcher
....|- other PAF-format folders
...- Folder for non-PAF application
....|- Application executable
....|- anything else the application needs

This works well for most 'portable applications that 'just work'.
