ReactOS

Iv bean in the serch for a portable OS for a while to run all my windows programs anywhere without having to modify the host computer, Well i finally found something called ReactOS. ReactOS has bean fully scripted from the ground up and can install windows32 programs onto it. Its mostly open source expet for some code from WHINE emulator (probly how they can run windows programs on it without getting sewed)and i just wanted to post the link so if anyone else needs it they can find it easier. Sorry this is the only place i could think to post it...
*EDIT* if you want to have it show up in portable apps you can use this free batch to exe converter that works like a charm here is the download link: http://download.cnet.com/Bat-To-Exe-Converter/3000-2069_4-10555897.html

From their site...

ReactOS 0.3.8 is still in under heavy development (alpha stage) and is not ready for everyday use.

ReactOS has always been an interesting project to me, but I won't touch it until it's in medium-late beta.

Vintage!

yes they use some code from winelib but not the actual wine code. therefore it's not a true dependency Blum I hung around their forums to know what they do Smile

for one thing your typing is

for one thing your typing is horrible, if you want people to properly understand you you should spell better Blum and the issue with qemu is that for the windows version it includes a closed source component called fmod, so thus won't be allowed on sourceforge.net (where we host all our apps on)
