My Firefox add-ons (extensions and themes) have disappeared from the browser. They are all still listed as installed in the add-ons box under the Tools menu, but none of them are usable. All of my bookmarks are present, so I don't think I've completed deleted my profile. Any ideas? Thanks. ( categories: )

So Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition doesn't have support for all add-ons.

Corruption
This is nearly always due to some minor corruption of the profile... usually from an unsafe eject or a faulty USB port. To fix it, Go to the FirefoxPortable\Data\profile directory and delete the extensions.rdf, extensions.ini and extensions.cache files. Then restart Firefox Portable. Any extensions you enabled will be re-enabled but otherwise it should work as expected. You may wish to backup your profile first just to be safe.
