Application: Boinc
Category: ???
Description: The Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) is a non-commercial middleware system for volunteer and grid computing. It was originally developed to support the SETI@home project before it became useful as a platform for other distributed applications in areas as diverse as mathematics, medicine, molecular biology, climatology, and astrophysics. The intent of BOINC is to make it possible for researchers to tap into the enormous processing power of personal computers around the world.

test failed

hello,
i've tested it a time ago, but it didn't start. i think it was some problem with predefined folders. my portableapps doesn't sit in c:\ - but some folders deeper...
greetings,
michael

Do you use the "Boinc

Do you use the "Boinc Manager.exe"?
Do you know what Boinc is?
There is no problem if the portable App is on C:\ or on another partition like D:\, E:\ or what ever.
I'm surprised if it works on you.

By me it's running and working.

not just the root folders

yes i know what boinc is. and i try to use portableboinc the way i use all my other portable apps. all from an other path then c:\
so i think portableboinc should - like other portableapps - able to run from every path. not just the root folders.
