AppCompactor

I need some help here cause I'm feeling like a moron - If I use the app compactor on a program that is installed on my computer already then how do I move the compacted app to my flash drive - OR do I install it on the flash drive and then compact it. Any help would be appreciated...

install it to the PC and compact it there because compacting is a read/write-intense process and I prefer doing them on my HDD so my flash drive lives longer.

I just want to point out that the fact that you use the Compactor doesn't automatically mean that the program is portable afterwards.
