Description: NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System) is a professional open source system to create Windows installers. It is designed to be as small and flexible as possible and is therefore very suitable for internet distribution. NSIS is also the scripting language used to write all of the launchers for the applications on this site, NSIS Portable includes the full NSIS package so beginning users will have examples, tutorials and help files to work from. It it highly recommended to download another application from this site and use those scripts as samples for creating your own portable apps.

Im having the same problem and I also noticed that clicking the above link redirects you to the project page instead of the link that just brings you to the download of this. But I got the same message above once I got to the page to download it.

I just had a look at this.
I just had a look at this. Nice job, everything works as it should although I think the launcher is based on an older version, particularly the INI file handling.
Also, I don't understand why the programme directory is being checked for plugins and includes because they're bundled with the app. And if they're not found (which they will be) then there's nothing in DefaultData to copy anyway.
I think there needs to be an 'AdjustPaths' done on the reg file as it's storing an MRU list.
And if the splash is being permanently disabled for the PortableApps.com branding, I think it would be better to leave the code in and just change the time (1500) to 0. That way, you avoid the hourglass cursor on startup which always happens when the splash is disabled (which is a bit annoying IMHO but happens on all apps).
Other\Source\Readme.txt needs tidying a bit (capitalization of headings and length of underlines). And the version number is still in help.html.

You might want to take a look at an app I wrote today called ChmHlp. It facilitates opening HtmlHelp files (CHM) to a specific keyword, and integrates nicely with Notepad++ and NSIS (my reason for writing it). Feel free to include it in your package if you like it.

How do you get rid of the program NSIS Media Extension for good? I've tried every method I can find on the internet, and nothing works. If someone can help, I would be grateful.
