PostBox Licensing questions

This question is mainly for John.

I was looking at PostBox today, and it looks quite promising, and it's based off of mozilla, which brings me to my questions. I know you work with Mozilla with FF and T-bird, and the licensing is similar.

Here's PostBox's Licensing. Can I make this portable, or do I have to get permission from them first?

Thanks,

I'm not John, but

the link is not to Postbox's licence, but only to the licences for the 3rd party software they include.

I cannot see any reference to their licence on the site, but, one thing I did find in the FAQ was...

FAQHow much will Postbox cost?
Postbox is currently in the early BETA stage of development and pricing has not yet been announced.

Which rather suggests that it is going to be pay-for software, and, as such, not a good candidate for PortableApps.com.

Not open source

It's NOT open source.

By Mozilla-based, I've assumed that they mean it uses XUL and XULRunner.

I looked at it yesterday, sure it looks a good app, but no go for here at the moment anyhow. Then I didn't get round to posting in the request thread.

Here's what I got from the team @ Postbox:

Michael,

Thanks for your interest in making Postbox portable. At this time, we do not allow for modification or distribution of Postbox. However, we may be able to figure something out once the 1.0 product is released.

Please feel free to check back in with us at that time.
Best,
Sherman
