Pidgin 2.5.8 was released a couple of days ago. It looks like there was some fixes for Yahoo and Myspace.
Will the portable version be available soon?

As usual, we already know (so posting reminders in the forums is unnecessary), but it can't be posted due to SourceForge.net issues which prevent any new releases. It's actually already done and awaiting release. Firefox Portable 3.5 was posted but can't be downloaded for the same reasons.
