Toucan Scripts

Submitted by mchooha on September 8, 2009 - 3:11am

Hi all,

I am new round here (please be nice) and have just installed Toucan.

After reading the help file, I have still been unable to work out what exacally i need to do to script a Toucan backup.

Can anybody please direct me to the correct forum if already posted, or provide assistance as to what the commands/codes are.

Are you able to put something together so that it can be scheduled in Windows scheduler?

Much appreciated

Hi,

and welcome to the forum!

If you already have a backup job saved then all you need to type in the script tab is:

Backup "jobname"

Running that script should then run your backup. It can indeed be scheduled in the windows task scheduler, all you need to do to run you script is pass the follwoing arguments:

Script scriptname

'...and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard...' JFK
