Security log in

Please bear with me i'm new at this and i'm not sure what i'm doing and don't know where to get the answer to me question.

Although I prefer PortableApps I have been using the U3 smart drive becaue I cannot find a way to protect what is on the USB drive. Where can I find a log in window lihe the U3 smart drive?

‹ I can't include the Data directory's files while compiling the installer. can some experts help a noob like me with 2 things please? ›

That was on my mind too. As of yet, I think TrueCrypt and FreeOTFE are the best two. Truecrypt puts everything onto a file that acts as a virtual drive when you run it. However it requires admin priveledges so it's probably out unless you can bear with TCExplorer. FreeOTFE is pretty much the same, but I think it has PDA versions as well.

If you are really paranoid, consider an IronKey (they are pretty much impossible to get--and so are the prices).
