What is Mumble?

Mumble is a VOIP program, much like TeamSpeak & Ventrilo but with the different that Mumble is open-source.

Low-latency, high-quality voice communication for gamers. Includes game linking, so voice from other players comes from the direction of their characters, and has echo cancellation so the sound from your loudspeakers won't be audible to other players.

Petition & Request

As a gamer, a person who use the interwebs for communication overseas and as a fan of portable applications, I would love to see Mumble make its entrance to the portable realm as well.

Sadly I'm no coding expert, but here I'm recommending this software for your consideration in hopes that there are more people out there with the same needs as I.
