Wow... I don't know what to say. It's the pink one! Coulda gone with blue, or green... but I guess pink is the closest to PortableApps Red.
Didn't even mean that seriously, either, but... wow.
Sorry dude, it was the first thing I thought of. A better '80s-style cartoon mascot, now that I think about it. One word: ThunderTank. With the PortableApps logo shopped onto the back, where it opens.
Bonus points: Lion-O standing next to it, with the PortableApps logo shopped onto his belt and sword.
Double bonus points: Cheetara and Wilykit, the latter aged about 10 years, on either side of him, with the PortableApps logo shopped onto their chests (where their ThunderCATS logo sits normally).
Triple bonus points: Snarf shopped onto the Firefox globe in place of the fox, somewhere in the picture.

And I agree, bad mascot idea... but like I said, I was bored and happened to be playing in GIMP when I was reading that, so...

Oh yeah. Love me some Metroid. At least 2D Metroid, never played a 3D Metroid I liked (also never played the GCN, Wii, or N64 ones, just NDS). If you have an Xbox 360 and you like Super Metroid, you owe it to yourself to look at an arcade game called Shadow Complex. Exactly the same kind of game but military themed (no aliens) and 2.5D action. Amazing. I'm on my fifth run, now on Insane, the hardest difficulty. Also compared to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, but it's more like Super Metroid than anything.
