Hi, currently I run Firefox Portable 3.0.15. Now I am a bit confused. All versions 3.0.x were automatically updated to 3.0.y so far (f.e. 3.0.14 to 3.0.15). But there are the versions 3.5.z as well. Which version is the actual one? Regards PortableUser2009 ( categories: )

How are you updating it? Auto-update in Firefox usually breaks it, but under the agreement with Mozilla John can't disable it.

If you have a standard root drive PortableApps setup, it should go over 3.0.7. Just run the installer again, maybe.
Oh, and next time, please, disable the auto-update. Somebody's got to do it

Firefox 3.0.15 vs. Firefox 3.5.5

first thanks for your reply.
This is what I did:
- Download Firefox Portable 3.5.5
- Run paf exe
- remove profile folder
- copy the profile folder of the 3.0.15 version
Now the version info in firefox shows version 3.5.5 but the tip
in the portable apps suite shows version 3.0.7.
Unfortuantely your comment didn't answer my main question.
Which version of Firefox Portable is the actual one?
It seems that there are two version branches.
There is 3.0.15 etc. and on the other hand there is 3.5.5 etc.
That's still confusing.
