), but apparently my library website is down (I would say good riddance, but it lists my books) and the local university library doesn't have it either. Are there any good Blender tutorials for people who live in reality and find good videos addictive (still can't believe there's no good portable video editor 
).

Has been abandoned a year ago, while the project started declining in 2006. As somebody from a forum I found while searching said: "They promised the world and delivered a rock."
Avidemux isn't an NLE, it's a video tuner-upper.
