I'm planning to make CodeLite portable. It is years since I tested anything on this arena. I don't remember any good concept. So what are your suggestion? (Please don't point me to those posts. I have read them. All I need here is how do I start) Where will I get working template that is so simple to start with?
Here are some hints. Codelite reads three reg entry and nothing else (as per developer).

Sorry. Didn't read your post. Anyway, look at my source code. I took it of [reference to illegal site removed - mod Chris] and its pretty good though that one doesn't have ddl register/unregistering.
I talked to Eran (Codelite core developer), and promised to make it completely portable. And he did. Codelite is now fully portable with Mingw and wxWidgets. The only way I look now is to make a launcher so that it will be compartible to Portable apps. I think this will, in future be bundled with PA installer as it is poartable "by nature"
Hope someone will get me head on. I'm also downloading MaxiMotion's code to see if I can use it to make launcher. Also I will check other apps
