Portable Filezilla on a stick runs slowly

Submitted by dmorley123 on July 12, 2006 - 12:46am

I'm executing Filezilla on my stick. I'm copying from a remote site to C:. The stick is blinking constantly, probably because filezilla needs access. This makes it very slow. Why should filezilla need access to the stick during this transfer:
remote -> C:? Shouldn't the executing code be cached in memory?
