ClamWin: Maually Updateing Program Files

Hello Group;

I am not a programer and usually just wait for the newer versions to appear on portableapps. So this is just a question.

Is it not possible to manually copy over the newer files or has John tweaked them in some way that a non programer can not do.

If it is a simple thing to do could someone let me know. Then perhaps people could update the files occasionaly and not be in a rush to have someone else do this.

*NOTE*

I am not trying to compete in any way with portableapps. I would do this only for myself if it is possible.

I don't think anyone here would mind even if you were intending to "compete with PortableApps." In any case, I do believe the copy of ClamWin inside Portable ClamWin is just a standard, unmodified copy of ClamWin, so you should be able to just throw in the new version. If I'm not mistaken, it's the same way for all the other 'apps, as well.

Lauren She eats everything! It's like having a goat. A giant, two-Godzillaton goat.
maggie Hey, I resent that remark! I only weigh ONE Godzillaton!

Actually

I think the portable version is UPXed.
But that's it.
