New Update Function

I noticed that the Update function has been removed from the new version. I still needed to update so I started looking through the help file. Reading it, I noticed that you can check the "Modified time", but according to the help file, even if the destination file is newer, it still gets overwritten. So my question is how do you perform an "update" without overwriting files that are newer in the destination than the source folder?
