Hi
I was wondering if anybody had a link to an older portable version of skype.
In 5 they seem to have changed the way contacts are added and it appears to open an internet browser type window, however this is blocked by my works firewall so I would like to revert back to an earlier version.
Any help would be appreciated.

directly, that means this is a life installer, the previous copy of the skype portable will not help you, skype probably took the install file from the server.
But I have installed versions from the 4.x and could make a zip of it and place it somewhere on suitable server. But can do that next week thursday first .
Check here next week , I will try to do it.

Hi, thanks for the link - I needed it too
I have a stupid problem, though, which I'm also experiencing with other portable versions of Skype - it does not remember my language preferences. My system locale is set to Bulgarian for some compatibility reasons, and Skype always sets the GUI language to Bulgarian when starts. I'm a native Bulgarian, but absolutely despise localized software
So I have to set the language manually every time I open Skype
