When i start openoffice 2.0 beta 3 nothing happens but when i try with v. 1.1.5 i works? anybody who now what i shall do? my pc runs winxp sp 2 »

Anything else you can think of that may be conflicting with it? This is the first reported issue on WinXP. 2.0 starts more slowly than 1.1.5. Does the splash screen come up? Did you change anything from a default unzip? Try it locally?

nothing comes up, i have tryed it locally but still doesn't work and i haven't change anything just unzipped with winrar v 3.51. any idea to things what could help? i have tryed all the other portable apps and they works fine.
Try soffice.exe directly?
Did you try running soffice.exe directory? It's in PortableOpenOffice\openoffice\bin

The direvtory dosen't exsist
The direvtory dosen't exsist in my folder ( i have just downloaded it again to see ) but i found the soffice.exe in the PortableOpenOffice\openoffice\program folder. But it dosen't work. is that the problem?

I meant program. But if soffice.exe doesn't work, then OO.o itself won't work on that computer. And there's nothing Portable OO.o can do about that.

I got simliar problem as
I got simliar problem as well. Download the whole suite in winxp sp2, unzip with winrar 3.5, all the others are ok but nothing happened after double clicking PortableOpenOffice.exe. But I am lucky that soffice.exe works.
