I would recommend adding the ability to alter the relative path (we're doing that with all PAL 2.1 apps now that it's working).

The XonoticPortable.ini file has been updated to allow moving the XonoticPortable directory. Since Xonotic is so large, I didn't want to go through the upload process again for something so small, so I just made available the new launcher .ini file.

For those who don't know what to do with it, simply put it in the \XonoticPortable\App\AppInfo\Launcher directory (allow overwriting the previous file).

They've added multiple language support in this release; however, upon first launch the game itself prompts the user for the preferred language you'd. Anyone have the opinion that I should attempt to implement language switching through the platform anyway?

Overrideable

IMHO, if you're able to override their prompt, you should, as that's what users are (slowly) coming to expect of apps launched from the platform - that the language chosen at the platform level will be respected.

I agree with Gord. Override it by default and leave an option in the ini to use Xonotic's language switching. Everybody's happy.

Current issues.

I realize there has been an update, but I've run into issues trying to update (some I may require speaking with a developer on their end).

One issue is that when I try to set fs_homebase (i.e. the data directory) via command line, Xonotic doesn't function correctly.

The second biggest issue is how to handle language switching. I can't seem to figure out where it stores the language, but even if I did I'm not sure I should implement this feature due to it being tied to the profile (thus, I would require a default profile for first-run to enable language switching on first-run).
