As detailed in the forum guidelines, creating additional accounts is not permitted:
One Account Per Person - Only one account per person, please. Sometimes on forum sites, people create secondary accounts to flame other people or to post a second message to their own topic, making it seem like there is more interest or agreement with their point of view. If your account is blocked for abuse, you may not create another one. Accounts may not be shared.
Recently, one user did this for the sole purpose of trolling and agreeing with their own account in story comments. As such, the second account was blocked and the post removed. The primary account is now suspended for a period of one week.

I just created a new account because my old one wouldn't log in correctly. I kept having to do the password reset page, even when I typed in my password correctly. I didn't see this post until about 3 minutes later.
