LOL check out what happens
kyt - August 22, 2006 - 11:46amLOL check out what happens if you tell it to solve the puzzle

Lemme check on that
Can you keep those images up there? I'm going to file a bug report with the folks that developed the base app.

Did you accidentaly double click the rightmost six?
hello5959us - August 22, 2006 - 12:04pmBecause double-clicking puts the number up one even when the number is given and if that number was 5, the puzzle would be fine.
So it does
That would appear to be the bug, since the algorithm, I believe, is correct.

woah I didn't know you could
kyt - August 22, 2006 - 2:19pmwoah I didn't know you could do that
no I didn't click on it at all
why would I click on a box I "can't" modify?
lol seems I can.. odd
and Yea I'll leave those images up there, they'll probably stay for atleast a year or until I run out of room, which won't be any time soon
Might have been inadvertent
It's relatively easy to accidentally click. Please upgrade to 1.1.7 and see if you encounter the same issue.

seems fine so far
kyt - August 22, 2006 - 2:39pmgot 1.1.7
gave me an error the first time
I just tried to unpack it on top of the old files and over write all
it wouldn't over right the old exe
just deleted the whole folder and tried again, no problems
its runs, trying to break it now
double clicking doesn't change the set tiles anymore
I'll post back later if I get it to break
thanks
Fixed in 1.1.7
It was possible to edit the read-only cells easily by double-clicking. I based a new release (Sudoku Portable 1.1.7) off of later code by the author that fixes the issue. This release has been posted and is now available for download.
