Can't get rid of Pidgin

Gray - April 26, 2011 - 6:07pm

I don't use Pidgin at all but attempts to uninstall it have failed. It will say "unable to to uninstall %APPNAME%."

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I get that from time tio time...

...with some apps.

The alternative is simply to delete the PidginPortable folder, that is essentially what the menu is doing.

Thank you

I had tried that and it hadn't worked. The darn thing could still open and run and everything, so I figured there had to be another folder of it somewhere that I just hadn't found yet. Sure enough I found another folder within a folder and deleting that did the trick and even removed the icon from the Portable Apps menu, just like you said.

Thanks!
